Eagle Day at Milford

This pandemic version of Eagle Day will be unlike previous years.

Have you ever been in the same room with a Bald Eagle or Golden Eagle? Now is your chance! No more than 10 people at a time will be in the room with the eagles. Rather than a formal presentation like years past, this year, you will get the chance to visit with our staff in a more personal way and ask the questions you’ve always wanted to ask.

Spotting scopes for viewing wild Bald Eagles will be set up around Milford Lake. We will announce the location of the spotting scopes so that you can drive to those locations to see Bald Eagles in their natural habitat.

Compare your speed and strength skills to your favorite raptors in our Avian Olympics! We will have an outdoor event area for activities for young and old. Live birds of prey will be in our heated tent for an up close meet and greet and photos!

Sign up for a ticket that fits your schedule, and plan to stay at the Nature Center for about 45 minutes. All ages are welcome but each person must have a ticket! Pre-registration for each person in your group is required. (Yes, even babies!) There is no cost for admission, but each vehicle must obtain a State Park vehicle pass to enter the State Park if spotting scopes are set up in the park. Due to the wild nature of Bald Eagles, they may change locations throughout the day. Watch our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for updates on the location of the spotting scopes.

Face masks are required at all stations and within the buildings.

Admission is free, we accept donations to Milford Friends Group which helps provide these fun events and refreshments.
